Senator Saraki
Senator Bukola Saraki has finally lost his bid to stop his trial on charges of false asset declaration. Justice Abdukadir Abdu-Kararati of the Federal High Court Abuja held today that Saraki’s suit is an abuse of court process. He therefore declined jurisdiction.
Saraki had asked the court to nullify the proceedings before the CCT. Citing violation of his right to fair hearing.
