Waripamowei Dudafa
According to Premium Times, Nigerian security operatives have arrested a former Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Domestic Matters, Waripamowei Dudafa at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, as he attempted to travel out of the country.
A source at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission told PREMIUM TIMES that Mr. Dudafa was on EFCC’s wanted list for his role in the sharing of N10billion to delegates during the December 2014 presidential primaries of the People Democratic Party.
The fund, investigators believe, was part of the alleged $2.1billion arms purchase money. But was allegedly shared among politicians by the office of a former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
According to the report, Mr. Dudafa was arrested and quizzed by the operatives of the State Security Service, SSS, before he was handed over to the EFCC on Monday.
