After blowing a nine-point lead at the top of the La Liga by allowing a run of three match loses, giants Barcelona bounced back at La Coruna and vented their anger on a sorry Deportivo with a 8-0 pounding.
Striker Luis Suarez scored four goals to take his tally to 49 and said after the match: “We are human, we aren’t machines and we can all commit errors or have a bad game….. This is a demonstration that the group is more united than ever and desperate to win the league. It is still in our hands.”
With four matches left, Barcelona is tied with Athletico Madrid on 79 point, but with a superior goal difference.
