The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has closed the case on the allegation against the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, Justice Dandali Umarr of taking a N10 million bribe.
This has been formally conveyed to Justice Umar in a letter from the Secretary of the commission, Emmanuel Adegboyega Aremo.
The EFCC was unable to establish a prima facie case against the judge, the letter said.
Umar was investigated over allegation that he demanded a N10 million bribe from a retired Customs officer, Rasheed Owolabi. He had issues with the CCT.
