Gunmen yesterday kidnapped three Osun State Government officials on the Obajana – Lokoja road in Kogi. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) has reported.
The officials were dragged into a nearby bush by the gunmen, while the official vehicle in which they were travelling was left the road side. They were on their way back home from Abuja, where they had gone to represent the state.
When contacted, the Commissioner of Police in Kogi, Yakubu Usman told NAN that he was out of town and was yet to be briefed on the incident.
