FINALLY REVEALED! Assassination Plot Is Why Oshiomhole Is Not Backing His Deputy For Governor

Many must have been wondering why Edo State governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole is not backing his deputy, Dr. Pius Obudu to succeed him as governor. The real reason has finally been revealed according to a Vanguard newspapers report.

Oshiomhole has openly accused his deputy of plotting to assassinate him by contracting witch doctors to kill him. This was also why the governor avoided the recent birthday of the wife of the deputy governor. In fact, like Obudu said, Oshiomhole has been avoiding him “like a leper”.

Oshoimhole disclosed this to a peace committee working to resolve the friction within the Edo APC party and wipe out the bad blood between the governor and his deputy.

The governorship primary of the APC is scheduled to hold in June or July. Feelers are convinced that Oshiomhle is supporting the candidacy of the Chairman of the Edo State Economic Team, Mr Godwin Obaseki.

Apart from Obaseki and Odubu, others vying for the Edo governorship include a former minister of Works, Engr.Chris Ogienwonyi, Gen. Charles Airhiavbere (retd), a former governor of the state, Prof. Osarhiemien Osunbor, Mr Kenneth Imasuagbon, Comrade Peter Esele, Prof. Frederick Ebegue Amadasun, and Mrs Tina Agbarha. She is the only woman in the race.
