Contrary to an earlier report, Fulani Herdsmen did invade the Ukpabi,Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State in the wee hours of today. Scores were reportedly murdered.
As a result natives have fled to neighboring communities of Nkpologu and Uvuru, even as Nkpologu natives fled to Nsukka , fearing of attacks.
Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu confirmed this to Vanguard on the telephone.
According to him, a combined team of police and Army have been drafted to the area.
