The Express has reported that sacked Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho signed a contract at the weekend to take over at Manchester United in summer. This is expected to be announced by the club before the season ends.
With Manchester United’s win over Everton, it therefore means that the FA Cup final on 21 May at Wembley would be Van Gaal’s final game in charge.
According to the contract, Mourinho will have full control over the club’s transfer policy. The Portuguese is expedcted to bring to Old Trafford Benfica’s Renato Sanches, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and John Stones.
