Borno State Government yesterday heaped the blame on Boko Haram for its poor performance in infrastructure development.
The State bemoaned that one of adverse effects of the activities of the Boko Haram in the state was the incompletion of N17 billion roads and bridges projects in Maiduguri metropolis, including three-kilometer Lagos Street Bridge that was awarded in 2012.
Commissioner of Works and Transport, Alhaji Adamu Lawan disclosed this at the Maiduguri-Bulumkutu and Lagos Street project sites, as he briefed newsmen about the helplessness of the Borno State Government over the uncompleted roads projects.
