Bauchi State Publicity Secretary of the All Peoples Congress APC, Awwalu Jalla, yesterday in Gombe lambasted erstwhile Bauchi Sate Governor as an ingrate the APC is not eager to welcome to its fold.
“The party is aware of who (Yuguda) really he is, and how the then ANPP uplifted him from the grass to grace but he later betrayed it.”
He said that if Yuguda wanted to join the party, he must follow due processes as enshrined in the constitution of the APC. But he Jalla wondered about the relevance that would have. He totally debunked the story that state executives of the APC had asked Yuguda to join them and he asked the public to disregard such rumour.
“APC as a party is not desperate in welcoming him. The party has a constitution whereby no executive member is allowed to accept any individual to the folds of the party without following due process. One must go to his APC ward executives with an application to be cleared and approved before becoming a member.”
