The killer of Major Gen. Mohammed Shuwa has been arrested in Kano.
Sani Usman, Army Director of Public Relations, disclosed that officials of the Nigerian Military Intelligence arrested the killer of the army officer, who was the first GOC, Nigerian Army 1 Division. He led that division during the civil war.
He said the suspect will soon be paraded before the pressmen in Kano where he was arrested.
It will be recalled that Gen. Shuwa was murdered in his residence in Maiduguri by a suspected Boko Haram member on November 2, 2012.
