Atletico Madrid has qualified for the Champions League Final to be played at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Milan on May 28.
They lost 1-2 to Bayern at the Allianz Arena, Munich Germany but advanced on the away goal rule, having won the first leg 1-0 (Agg. 2-2).
Atletico also qualified for the 2014 final but lost bitterly 1-4 to city rivals Real Madrid after leading 1-0 till 93rd minute.
They will now play the winners of the tie, Real Madrid vs Man City. Atletico must be looking forward to their pound of flesh if the opponent turns out to be Real.
