The Joint Military Force (JMF) in the Niger Delta has arrested 16 people, who allegedly vandalized pipelines and engaged in crude oil bunkering in Delta.
Col. Isa Ado, Spokesman of Operation Pulo Shield, disclosed this during a news conference at the 222 Battalion Headquarters in Ughelli today.
He said that the suspects were arrested in two separate operations.
He said that the pipes for a project at Aburah were stolen from the oil fields operated by Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), saying that four suspects, including an NPDC staff member, were picked up.
