Sadiq Khan will become the new Mayor of London. The Labour party candidate defeated Conservative Zac Goldsmith to emerge the first muslim to be elected the Mayor of London, Sky News has reported.
Khan’s victory puts to an end nearly a decade of Conservative control of City Hall.
