BREAKING: Court gives EFCC green-light to keep Fani-Kayode in custody

The The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been given the greenlight by a court of competent jurisdiction to keep ex-minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode to enable it conduct proper investigation about three cases of fraud against him, including getting N840million from the campaign bazaar splashed by former NSA, Sambo Dasuki, Checkpointcharley has gathered.

Femi Fani-Kayode spent last night in custody at the EFCC office in Abuja after he arrived yesterday at 9.45 a.m. for questioning. The remand warrant, which was obtained today, will enable the anti-graft agency to keep Fani-Kayode beyond the time limit allowed by law.
