There was terror today at Grafing station, near Munich in Bavaria Germany when a knife wielding 27 year old man killed one and wounded three people before he was overpowered by police. One of the victims died of his wounds in hospital.
The Bavaria Police is investigating a connection to extreme Islam as witnesses said he shouted “Allahu akbar” (“God is great” in Arabic). However, the motive for the attack remains hazy. But an Upper Bavaria police spokesperson said that a “political motive” has certainly not been ruled out.
Karl-Heinz Segerer confirmed to German television that the attacker “expressed political motivations” during the attack. And he disclosed that the man does not live in Bavaria.
The attack left bloody footprints on a train and the station platform.
