The owner of a publishing firm in Ikeja, Lagos, the lover of murdered Ronke Shonde, allegedly beaten to death by her jealous husband last week at their Egbeda home in Lagos for infidelity, has gone underground.
Libidinous affair with the late Ronke caused her death and shatterded a once happy family. Fearing unknown consequences, the man is presently lying low.
A visit to his office located on the ground floor of a two-storey building on Talabi Street, Ikeja, yesterday by the Vanguard revealed that the man has been absent from work since the tragic incident went public.
Members of staff of the company tightened their lips when approached about the man’s whereabouts.
The late Ronke’s husband, Lekan Shonde, interrogated by detectives at the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department, yesterday maintained that his deceased wife had a secret love affair with her boss.
