Indigenes were speechless in Gurum—Nongvan village in Ganye Local Government Area of Adamawa state after a four year old child was raped to death by her own cousin.
The accused, , simply identified as Nenekenso, is a nephew to the father of the deceased girl, Aisha Ali. Those spoken to said that he was fond of the victim, and always played with her.
According to them, the alleged rapist was said to have visited the parents of Aisha at the weekend and took her out as he normally did.
Aisha was later only brought back as a life-less body by villagers.
Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Othman Abubakar confirmed the incident. He said that the suspect is now keeping the Criminal Investigation Department of the command company
