An EgyptAir plane headed to Cairo from Paris with 69 people vanished from radar early this morning, the airline has announced.
Flight MS804, using the popular Airbus A320, took off from Charles de Gaulle airport at 11:09 p.m. with 59 passengers and 10 crew members, EgyptAir said in a statement.
The plane lost communications with radar around 2:45 a.m. Cairo time. According to another statement released, the airline said all communication has been lost with the missing aircraft. A spokeswoman said that rescue operations have been activated.
