On the killing of Pro-Biafran demonstrators by the Military and Buhari’s silence

dictator

Buhari may think he is crushing the “enemies” of Nigeria, but unfortunately he is crushing our democracy. And possibly, the country called Nigeria. Wished he showed such steel against the real enemies, who are the Fulani herdsmen. I personally fail to see anything wrong in a peaceful agitation for a better deal by the Pro-Biafran agitators.

I love Nigeria as presently constituted. Nonetheless, it is legitimate for people to voice out, in a democracy their grievances about being unfairly treated.

It is only an insane democratic president that will send the military to go and kill citizens, who are peacefully exercising their constitutional right of freedom to assemble and protest.

How can a sitting president spite his own citizens so much that he hears that many of them were killed by the military and yet says nothing? And he wakes up this morning and goes to his office, which he earned from the mandate of those killed, as if nothing happened.

President Buhari, this is not arrogance; neither is it hatred. I call it foolishness
You can pretend forever to be a democrat, nevertheless your actions, inactions and body language betray you and support the widely held view that you are a dictator.
