
Arsenal have opened talks with league champions, Leicester City in their bid to sign late bloomer, Jamie Vardy who helped the Foxes to their first ever Premier League title. The Gunners are ready to pay £20million inserted into Vardy’s release clause.
The 29 year old England international joined Leicester for only £1million from country side club, Fleetwood in 2012, where he had play non league football in the National conference.. Interestingly, Vardy fought his way back from non-league football after he was sorted out by Sheffield Wednesday at the age of 16 for being too small.He never gave up and fought his way back, earning once only £50 a per match. In the just concluded season, he was voted the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year.
Vardy made his England debut age the late age of 28 and has scored three times in eight games.
