A federal high court today in Abuja ordered a cousin to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Azibaola Robert to be remanded in Kuje Prison. Robert, till this order, has been in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since March when he was arrested over a fraud, involving a $40m contract from Sambo Dasuki, former national security adviser (NSA).

Azibaola and his wife, Stella, were arraigned before Justice Nnamdi Dimgba for allegedly receiving a $40m contract from Dasuki. EFCC had filed a seven-count charge against Robert and Stella for allegedly using Oneplus Holding Limited, their company, to get contracts from the former NSA. Stella herself was only taken into custody on Monday ahead of the trial.
