“BEHEADING IN KANO”: Police arraign five for murder of Igbo woman

The Nigeria Police today in Kano, amid heavy security, arraigned the prime suspect and 4 others believed to have instigated and killed a 74 years Christian woman trader, Mrs Briget Agbaheme in kano.

Those arraigned are Dauda Ahmad , Abdullahi Mustapha, Zubairu Abubakar, Abdullahi Abubakar, and Musa Abdullahi. Still on the run are Salawiyu SNU, (Surname Unknown) Ibrahim SNU, Dini SNU, Isyaku Mada, Malam Sani, Malam Sani, Inusa sufi, Malam Umar.

The arraignment at Magistrate court 20 happened under heavy armed police presence. When the charge of murder was read out, the accused persons, as expected pleaded not guilty, including the charge of using “dangerous weapons to hit her head which caused serious injuries that subsequently led to her death.”

Thereupon, the police prosecutor, Usman Jibril pleaded for adjournment to enable the police complete investigation. The presiding Magistrate, Muhammad Jibrin agreed and adjourned the matter to June 28. He ordered that the suspects be remanded in prison.
