EURO 2016: Lewandowski Plots to Shock Germany

Lewandowski | » Ich habe mir die Tore für Deutschland aufgehoben

Though he could not get one shot at goal in his country’s 1-0 bashing of Northern Ireland, but today against Germany, Bayern Munich’s Polish international, Robert Lewandowski is plotting a big coup against favourites Germany in the second match in Group C tonight at the Stade de France. Kickoff is at 21 Hours CET.

Lewandowski is everything anyone would wish to have in a central striker. And tonight against Germany, his country is looking up to him to help wreck a strong German team, made up mainly of players he knows too well in the Bundesliga and at Bayern Munich.

Germany have always dominated their eastern neigbours over the years, but Poland spanked Germany 2-0 the last time the two sides met in an European Championships qualifier in 2014, as if they wanted to say that a new era has damned in Polish football – with the emergence of Superstars like Lewandowski, Mila and Milik. It was a historic win, as Poland had never beaten Germany before.

Whoever wins the tie will go top of the group.
