The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today in a series of tweets on its twitter handle (@PdpNigeria attacked the All Progressives Congress (APC) on a number of issues. First it said the APC must apologise to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan for all the lies they told against him.
The PDP, currently under leadership crisis, in a series of tweets also aksed the APC to apologise to Nigerians for lies and propaganda they spread during the the 2015 election campaign.
The opposition party also accused the APC of not fighting corruption but rather ‘sharing dollars in Central Bank of Nigeria and doing illegal forex deals’.
The party pointed out that the ruling APC government has succeeded in doing nothing since one year it took over governance. According to the PDP, the result is that they succeeded in killing the economy, ruining businesses, driving away investors, and then turn around and give excuses.
The PDP further chided the APC for giving job opportunities only to the party’s cronies. It lambasted the APC-led government’s silence on the killing of 18 women during a funeral service in Adamawa by Boko Haram insurgents.
Some of the tweets read: “Although Lai Mohammed has openly admitted to talking too much during the campaign, they must also apologize for the lies they told against GEJ.
“The APC and its members should become sober and apologize to Nigerians for all the lies and propaganda they dished out during the campaign. “Is it not ironic that ‘Buhari’ who cancelled Lagos Rail Project initiated by Jakande 3 decades ago will now commission Abuja-KD Fast Rail.”
