With the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu evading service, persons, suspected to be bailiffs from the FCT High Court, Abuja, yesterday effected substituted service, as directed by the court, by pasting on the Senate board the court summons. The summons ordered the Presiding Officers of the Senate and two top management staff of the National Assembly, to appear before the court for alleged forgery of the Senate Standing Order in 2015.

The summons directed the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki; his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu; the outgoing Clerk to the National Assembly, Alhaji Salisu Maikasuwa; and  the Deputy Clerk, Benedict Efeturi, to appear for the case, coming up on Monday next week.
