President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed another Northerner to a key position, hours after he gave the post of the Inspector General of Police to the North. Today, he appointed Boss Gida Mustapha, as the new Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority.
Director (Press and Public Relations) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr.Bolaji Adebiyi, revealed this in a statement issued this evening.
He said the appointment of Mustapha, “a lawyer with extensive experience in both private and public sectors in management positions”, is for a four year term.
For a president who came to power promising change, he has appointed mainly Northerners into key positions, since he assumed the presidency.
