Wales managed to put a goal past Northern Ireland in the 75th minute to win the so-called battle of home nations to qualify for the quarterfinal of the EURO 2016 for the first time in history.
In a lacklustre match with no highlights, it took an own goal to decide the encounter, as defender Gareth McAuley deflected a good cross from Gareth Bale into his own net to leave France 2016 with a memory that will haunt and torment him for a very long time.
Wales now face the winner of the match between Belgium and Hungary.
