Umtiti, 22, will sign a five-year contract with Barcelona, which includes a buy-out clause of €60m, the club said.
The centre-back made his France debut in the quarter-finals against Iceland and and went on to keep his place in the team for the next two matches, due to excellent performance. He played in Sunday’s 0-1 loss to Portugal in the final.
