Following Senate’s threat to withdraw the confirmation of Abubakar Salami as Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, the AGF today finally honoured the Senate Summons.
Salami arrived the venue of the meeting with the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal even before members of the Committee turned up. He is being questioned by the committee now. He is expected to tell the senators why he instituted a case of forgery against the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu.
