Leicester City manager, Claudio Ranieri has hailed his new Nigerian international signing, Ahmed Musa as Leicester City’s latest fighter jet. Marking his first anniversary in charge of the Foxes, he said: ‘It’s very important to have another airplane in our squad. He has lots of speed. Remember we are the RAF”
Ranieri boasted that the £16million record signing from Russian club, CSKA Moscow has same lightning speed which prompted him to nickname flying frontmen Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and Jeff Schluup his RAF last season.
“Musa can bring his amazing speed to the party.
“I don’t know if he’s as quick as Jamie Vardy but he has lots of speed.
“It’s very important to have another airplane in our squad. Remember we are the RAF and now we’ve signed another one of them!”
Ranieri returned to the same Stegersbach training ground, near the Austrian-Hungarian border. The same place where he first introduced himself to his squad on July 13 last year.
