Leicester City and France’s roving midfielder, N’Golo Kante has agreed a five-year deal to join Chelsea for £29m.The “new Makelele” is set to sign a contract and complete his move from Premier League champions, Leicester to Stamford Bridge.
Sources have confirmed to Checkpointcharley that a deal has been agreed and Kante will be given a five-year contract.
The French international’s release clause at Leicester was pegged at £22m. But interest from Shanghai SIPG forced Chelsea to had to go higher, so as to meet up with the Chinese Super League club’s offer.
