Italy Champions, Juventus have rejected Manchester United’s £85m bid for Paul Pogba, according to SKY in Italy. The Old Ladies, who have now accepted that the French midfielder wants to leave, have however told United that a world-record transfer fee in excess of £100m would be accepted.
The rejected offer was made at a meeting between Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, Man Utd’s executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward and Juventus general manager and CEO Giuseppe Marotta.
Pogba, who won four Serie A league titles and two Coppa Italia trophies with Juventus, is currently on holiday and is not expected back in Turin until August 6.
