England Under-21 international, Rob Holding is on the brink of joining Arsenal. His transfer from Bolton Wanderers is expected to be completed in the next few days. Checkpointcharley understands that he underwent a medical at the North London clun on Monday evening and personal terms will be ironed out before the week runs out.
The 20 year old defender was left out of Bolton team for their friendly against Tranmere Rovers last night.
Holding, who joined Bolton at the age of seven, has made 26 appearances for the club since making his debut for the League One outfit back in 2013.
Sources tell Checkpointcharley that Arsenal’s second offer of about £2.5million has been accepted by Bolton after the first was rejected.
