The Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal has reversed a Lagos State High Court judgement of October 17, 2014, banning the wearing of hijab in Lagos State public primary and secondary schools.
The appellate court, in a unanimous decision today, held that the ban was discriminatory against Muslim pupils in the state.
