The Nigeria U-23 football team to the 2016 Olympics are finally on there way to Rio after being stranded due to the typical Nigerian ambulance approach. The Dream Team VI have left their pre-tournament camp in Atlanta after delays over flight payments by those whose duty it is to tidy up things.
Nigeria, gold-medal winners in the Olympic football event in Atlanta ’96, are in Group B alongside Japan, Colombia and Sweden. They will play their opening match against Japan in less than 24 hours from now and may have to go straight to the game on arrival.
