The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, who is under fire for alleged budget padding, is meeting President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja now.
Sources tell Checkpointcharley that the two men will discuss the budget padding scandal in the lower chamber inside the president’s office.
Dogara arrived for the meeting at about 2.30pm and a reliable source say that Buhari will prevail on the embattled speaker to resign as he has lost the moral authority to lead the house.
