
Another former Nigerian footballer, Peter Ogaba is dead. He was a one-time Nigerian youth international; the youngest player at the U17 World Cup in Canada,1987 and during the U20 World Cup in Saudi Arabia,1989. He was said to have died this morning after a brief illness.
The Assistant Director of Media of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ademola Olajire, confirmed his death.
Ogaba played for KSC Lokeren in Belgium. Later, he went on loan from Lokeren, after sustaining a hamstring injury, to Finnish club FC Oulu, where he won the league.
His last club was MSV Duisburg of Germany, where he played in the 1993/1994 season.
He was also coach of Lobi Stars, Makurdi between 2006 and 2009.
