Rescued Chibok girl, Amina Ali Nkeki says she misses her Boko Haram ‘husband,” Mohammed Hayatu and pleaded to be reunited with him. I still think about him three months after escaping the militants’ camp, she added.

Amina was rescued (found) while breastfeeding her four-month-old baby and the said husband.

The man allegedly escaped and surrendered himself, his ‘wife’, Amina and their baby to members of the Borno state Civilian Joint Task Force in Balle, a village in Damboa.

Recall that after she was rescued, Amina met with President Muhammadu Buhari and has since then been held for months by the Nigerian government – confined to a house in Abuja for rehabilitation.

But speaking with CNN on Tuesday, the 21-year-old said, “I have no idea where he (husband) is now and I am keen to be reunited with him

“I’m not comfortable with the way I’m being kept from him.”

Amina said, talking to Mohammed, “I want you to know that I’m still thinking about you, and just because we are separated doesn’t mean I have forgotten about you.”
