It is simple a wild, wild Premier League, little wonder it is the most exciting league in the world. It is a league were nothing is taking for granted; anybody can win anybody.
After a flying start to the season by Liverpool after a 4-3 fantastic victory over Arsenal at Emirates, lowly Burnley brought them back to reality with a 2-0 humbling defeat at Turf Moor. They were first half goals scored by Sam Vokes and Andre Gray. And it was a deserved win, as Liverpool’s woes against small teams continue.
Elsewhere at Vicarage Road Stadium, Watford gave Chelsea the scare of their season so far. Etienne Capoue scored in the 55th minutes for hard-fighting Watford to sound a warning to Antonio Conte that there is no easy ride in the EPL. But Chelsea’s new signing from Marseille, Michy Batshuayi equalised ten minutes from time to save him some blushes.
But the Blues were not done, seven minutes later, Diego Costa again gave Conte his second league win in two games in charge.
