Former Super Eagles defender, Joseph Yobo has denied joining Nigeria Professional Football League side, Kano Pillars.
There were media reports that the former Everton defender born in Kano, had chosen to play for Pillars. And that Yobo was expected to make his debut for Pillars in a Match Day 34 home game against Sunshine Stars this weekend.
However, the former Super Eagles skipper has denied being a Pillars’ player.“I read that I was missing in action last weekend. I have not signed for Kano pillars or any NPFL club,” Yobo tweeted via his official Twitter handle (@jyobo234).
