Super Eagles of Nigeria have just beaten Tanzania 1-0 in African Nations Cup qualifier played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
Man City forward Kelechi Iheanacho calmed frayed Nigerian nerves in the 79th minutes when he put his country 1-0 ahead and hand new German coach Gernot Rohr victory on his debut as Super Eagles manager.
It was more of a game of pride as Nigeria and Tanzania will have no part to play at the 2017 AFCON, after Egypt picked the sole ticket from Group B.
