A stormy session has been reported at the House of Representatives following alleged attempt to suspend Abdulmumin Jibrin.
The uproar began as the Chairman of the House Committee on Rules and Business, Emmanuel Orker-jev, moved a motion on breach of his privilege and that of the House by the embattled former Chairman of the Appropriations Committee.
Members listened with patience until he got to where he mentioned Jibrin’s name. This when members of the Transparency Group ressisted with a thunderous “No, no, no.”
It got a “Dogara, Dogara” chant response by pro-Dogara members, who distributed green scarves with the inscription “I stand with Dogara”.
