President Muhammadu Buhari, burdened with the task of fixing his country’s economic recesion, on Thursday met again behind closed doors with a former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (retd.), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting took place inside the President’s office. It was the second time in eight weeks the two leaders have met. They had earlier met on August 23.
Gowon refused to talk to reporters after today’s meeting, leaving the press to speculate over what was discussed.
