A bomb explosion along Banki, Usmanari, Kumshe road in Borno State, may have killed two soldiers of the 152TF Battalion of the Nigerian Army.
The explosion, which destroyed one canter truck, occurred at about 8:10 a.m. this morning and it left no fewer than eight soldiers injured, according to Premium Times.
The injured persons are now receiving first aid treatment before they are evacuated by air to a hospital.
The Nigerian Army is yet to release an official statement over the incident.
This comes days after Boko Haram insurgents killed Nigerian gallant soldier Muhammed Abu Ali and others in the same Borno.
