Billionaire Businessman, Donald Trump, a Washington outsider, has won the 2016 US Presidential Election and will become the 45th president.
Trump shattered all polls and secured an improbable win by taking the key battleground state of Ohio and led Democrat Hillary Clinton in a series of other states that were too close to call, including Florida and North Carolina.
He will be the first person in the history of the United States, who had not held any public office or served in the military to be elected president.
His democratic challenger, Hilary Clinton has already conceded defeat by calling Trump to congratulate him.
Trump swept conservative states in the South and Midwest, while Clinton secured several states on the East Coast and Illinois in the Midwest. Clinton won Nevada and Virginia.
