The present economic hardship seems to be turning Nigerians into beasts as a seven-year-old boy was on Wednesday allegedly killed after being set ablaze in the Badagry area of Lagos for stealing common garri, according to reports.
Images of the jungle justice buzzing on social media show how the boy was set ablaze after being beaten up.
The bestiality has elicited outrage and many Nigerians are calling for an investigation into the incident.
The Lagos Police command is yet to confirm the incident.
