The governorship ambition of Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim has developed a “k-leg” as the Court of Appeal Abuja division on Wednesday nullified his nomination as the PDP candidate for the Ondo gubernatorial election.
Justice Saulawa says replacing Jegede with Ibrahim without hearing Jegede was breach of fair hearing
He said natural justice requires parties are heard before any judgment.
Justice Saulewa said he concurred that the lower court erred in law when it replaced Jegede with Ibrahim.
The court therefore set aside the primary that produced ibrahim as “illegal contraption”. Saying the primary conducted by state executive which produced Ibrahim is a nullity.
