There was another disturbing case of jungle justice on Monday as two young men were set ablaze in Umuguma in the Owerri West local Government area of Imo State for allegedly stealing a brand new motorcycle from a commercial motorcyclist.

An eyewitness told the Punch that the two men who were in their mid twenties had successfully snatched a brand new motorcycle from the motorcyclist at the ever busy World Bank roundabout, Owerri and were about dash away with the bike when they were intercepted.

Both were set  ablaze by other commercial motocyclists before security men could arrive at the scene.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state,  Andrew Enwerem, DSP, said his office was yet to be briefed about the incident.

Recall that a seven-year-old boy was earlier this month set ablaze in the Badagry area of Lagos for stealing common garri.
