Two loud explosions on Sunday morning rocked a crowded area near Maiduguri’s main market, witnesses and officials have said.
The blasts, which were quick in succession, happened around 8:45 a.m.
Police Public Relations Officer, Mr.Victor Isuku has confirmed the explosions. He said they took place near Old NEPA office, close to Monday market. It is a very busy place in Maiduguri.
No group has claimed responsibility. Rescue workers have been mobilised.
